About

Mandi Thomas graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music in December 2008.  She started taking voice lessons at the age of 10, and dance lessons from age 2-13, and she also trained in theater.  She has been performing for over 20 years. Mandi is currently a lead singer in the Cruisin Heavy Band and performs in venues all across the Mid-South most weekends. She has won numerous awards including but not limited to, Star of Delta the Fair, and a sweepstakes winner, and several times finalist with Mid-South Fair Youth Talent, as well as making it to the Hollywoodround in season 6 of American Idol. In high school, she was in Teens in Theater and had the opportunity to travel to Scotlandfor a theater exchange program.  In college she performed all over the US and was selected to go to Japan on tour as a founding member of Renaissance Choir of Bethel.  Throughout high school and college, Mandi was in many plays, including a lead role of narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Bethel University.  Mandi has been teaching at e.studio since October 2010.  During this time, she has had the privilege of watching her students shine with talent including several pageant winners, Miss Tennessee 2011-who placed top 10 in Miss America, 2 students that made it to The Voice in 2018/2019, and many starring in school, local, and national touring plays, as well as winners in the Star of the Delta Fair and back-to-back Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Jr. and Sr. winner. Mandi Thomas is an original teacher for e.Studio/Visions.  She has been an integral part of the growth of e.Studio/Visions Vocal Department.
